Stopping scanned pics from going to Backgrounds & Themes folder

I don't know why or how to reverse it, but anything I
scan automatically goes to MY PICTURES Folder but it also
duplicates it into the Backgrounds File and are avaiable
to use as a desktop background!PLEASE can someone help?

I guess you are using the Win XP Scanner and
Camera Wizard?

At #3 on the "Picture Name and Destination"
screen you can browse to any folder you wish
to save your scan in. It does not have to be your
My Pictures folder.

By design, all images saved in your My Pictures
folder will be available as Desktop Backgrounds.

Moving the images to a different folder will immediately
remove them from the background list.
