PowerPoint Stopping loop without leaving slideshow

Hi

I want to setup a powerpoint that loops through all slides and then stops at the one its on when I press escape. At the moment, when I press escape it goes out of 'show' mode and into edit mode when I just want it to leave that slide on the screen. I am wanting to use it to random select slides, so it can't be anything where I select something on the slide itself.
