I would like to stop drop down boxes that appear when I am typing
information. For example, on google, when I start typing say D, anything I
had looked up beginning with d pops up where you can click on it if you
choose. I hate that and would like to shut that down. Help please, I don't
know how??

Open Control Panel, Internet Options, Click on Content tab, Under Personal
Information, click on Autocomplete. Uncheck the boxes you don't want
autocomplete to run on.

Thanks Mark! I tried that and rebooted my computer and it still lists suggestions? Any other ideas?

Open control panel again. Open Internet Options. click the Advanced tab.
Scroll down and find 'Use Inline Autocomplete'. Make sure the box is
unchecked.

By the way, if you haven't done so yet, you also need to Clear the History
by going back to Internet Options. On the General tab, click clear history.

I tried that and it didn't work. I think the problem is with MSN and not IE. When I use internet explorer alone, I don't have this problem. I guess I will have to contact Verizon to straighten out this problem. Thanks again!!
