Hiya,
This is a simple question to which I should know the answer, but for the
life of me I can't remember!

I'm running Windows XP Pro and each time I save a new photos, or scanned
image to "My Pictures"
folder it is placed in a new sub-folder which carries the current date as
its name.

Can anyone tell me how I turn this off, so that a new folder is not
generated for each day.

Thank you for any assistance given.

I know its late, but happy new year to you all !!

Hiya DaViD;
I'm guessing that it has something to do with whatever software you're using for your
scanner and/or camera.

Yeah, XP's photo utility allows you to save anywhere I believe. You should
check the options of whatever program you use to transfer your images from
camera to pc and see if there is an option to change that...else live with
it or use another program!
