Stop windows recreating folders?

I do not want to use the various standard folders, such as 'My Music', 'My
Pictures' etc, that XP crates in 'My Documents', but if I delete them, I find
that at some point, they get recreated. Is there some way to stop Windows
from doing this. I thought of changing the folder permissions, but that is
probably going to muck up a lot of other stuff, any suggestions?

Hi Martin,

Those folders are system folders and cannot be stopped from being recreated. If you want, you may
not save any files under those folders, but it is not possible to stop them from being recreated
everytime you delete them.

You could tell windows to make them somewhere out of the way, though.
Change:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

it has settings to redirect or rename all that stuff and more.
