Hi,
Is there a way to prevent users from pluging in any devices that are not
Authorized by the administrators. What I wish to do is make it that general
users cannot plug in their own usb devices or mice/keyboards in to computer
and have them work. Windows seems to allow anybody to plug in a device that
in already has the drivers for. (ie. standard USB memory sticks, ps2 mice,
etc) I wish to stop this from being able to happen. If the device has not be
installed by an adminstrator then I do not wish any users to be able to use
that device.

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

The Keyboards and Mice aren’t something you can control via
software. However, if you are talking about external drives have you
thought about hiding and restricting access to all the drive letters?
Works great for me. If there is no drive letter available then the
drive won’t load.
