Stop the Clipboard toolbar!!?!

Is there a box or something I can check/uncheck to stop the Clipboard
toolbar from showing up every time I Cut or Copy?

If you are using Word XP, you can choose how the clipboard displays.
Go to Edit > Office Clipboard. This displays the clipboard pane. At the
bottom is an Options button. You can choose to "collect without displaying
clipboard".

If you ever want to see the clipboard again, just press Control + C Control
+ C and it will come back.

My version of XP gives me an option not to have it appear.
I finally selected it today.
