Help, please. I installed XP, professional version. Am trying to create a website using Second Site and XP is picking out random words in the text and making links of them. Clicking on the link sends you to some list of obscure web resources with a microsoft logo on top. These are words like "tax," "mortgage," "Virginia," "employment" etc that are being hijacked. Could someone please explain what is happening and how to turn this off? Many, many Thanks in advance.

Hi Susan,

It almost sounds like Smart Tags - you aren't using an older beta version of
XP or IE6 are you?

This is a new xp we just bought to upgrade from Windows Me...we had so many problems with that. Do you know how to turn this off? I can't find something called "Smart Tags?" Thanks.

Hi Susan,

Smart tags were removed from the final product, which is why I was asking if
it was a beta or prerelease product. Do you have Office installed?

Well, I bought it from a student site which sells software for college students. The disc says "Version 2002." Yes, it does have microsoft office, too.
