Using Outlook 2003. WinXP, SP-2
I've received a message from someone with an attached .lnk file.
Outlook will not allow me to access this attachment "normally" and
provides a warning message, "Outlook blocked access to the following
potentially unsafe attachments: rand.lnk."
How do I gain access to this .lnk file? Or at least get the actual
URL text so that I can copy/paste it into my browser?
How do I stop this behavior (if the blocking is indeed being
accomplished by my PC, and not by the mail server)?
If I can read the URL, I can decide for myself whether to use it by
copy pasting it into my browser's address box.
Thanks,
Fred Holmes
