Stop Message 0x0000008e in setup

In setup I get this stop message every time, even with a
new hard drive and RAM:

Stop: 0x0000008e (0xC0000006, 0x808550F4, 0xF80C4A14,
0x00000000)


Can anyone help me? I can't find the answer on
Microsoft's web site anywhere.

Sounds like - to me, you may have defective RAM.
