To (possibly) answer that question, you'll need to provide the details of
the Stop error, such as:
- All numeric parameters (like: Stop 0x00000xyz
(0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000).
- Any file-names mentioned in the Stop error message.
- Exactly when during the boot process does the error occur (what do you see
immediately before the error)?
Stop errors can be caused by hardware failure, a flaky driver, disk
corruption, gremlins, you name it. More detail might narrow things down a
bit.
