I'm getting a STOP 0X0000007E.... scsiport.sys error
after installing a new 512 MB RAM chip. It is compatible
with my Dell Dimension 4400 and is recognized by the Dell
BIOS. I have verified that it is seeded in the "0" slot,
and I have even tried it in the 1 slot with one of my two
128 MB RAM chips in 0. I can't even get this to boot to
Safe Mode: in fact, safe mode is the only way to
determine the error - every other choice (Last Known Good
Config, Regular windows startup, Safe/w networking and
safe/w command prompt cause a reboot). Any Ideas?
