I have a Stop Error blue screen message when I boot up my pc. A message also
says, problem caused by device drive. I followed these instructions (below)
but it is didn't work.
Steps:
Disconnect new hardware - (didn't install any new hardware.)
Start ed pc using last known good configuration feature by pressing F8.
Reboot.
Use System Restore
Start pc in safe mode.
Rollback Driver (well I don't know which driver to roll back.)
Start, Run, msconfig and clicked on the startup tab and selected the items
to determine the conflicting program.
Start, Run, msconfig and clicked on the services tab and selected the items
to determine the conflicting service.
The detailed instructions are at this link
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=322205
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. I can't seem to figure this out.
Thanks.
