My system has (2) HD running XP Pro Corp. Drive C: is a 2.5GB 4500 RPM
Drive E: is a 40GB 7200 RPM.

Used to be able to boot from either drive with no issues.

Problem now is it brings up the Stop Error message when I try to boot from
the E: Drive. Not sure what change brought up this problem.

When I try to reinstall WinXP on the E drive, XP won't show the option as
to which drive I wish to install it on. (??)

How do I fix it so I'm able to boot from the E: drive sucessfully ??

Thank you,

ERIC

There is no such thing as Windows XP Professional Corp. This is a name
given by crackers in the piracy world. If you are using " XP Pro Corp" go
buy a valid copy of XP then come ask for advice.

Hi,

0x7B means a problem with boot.ini. Could be due to misconfigured hardware
or improper cabling. Possibly a weak battery as well. Boot the Recovery
Console on the WinXP Cd and rn bootcfg to rebuild the file.
