How do I get the stop devices to reappear in the system tray?

It depends what they are. Some (e.g. Connection to Internet.
are shown/hidden in the system tray by their software
which may be in program config. (e.g. Mailwasher email filter) or may
be a component of Windows (reached via Control panel, e.g.
audio volume control.)
 
Yeah, Spampal doesn't show either. I was reffering to Stop devices to Safely
Remove Hardware!
