Stop Autoplay

Hi All:

I'm running XP Pro signed on as administrator.

Whenever I put in a DATA cd or zip disk it automatically starts and
shows me all the files
on the cd or disk.

How do I stop this from happening??

I've already tried the "my computer, properties, autoplay tab option"
but it didn't help. This appears to be for multimedia only.

Any help would be appreciated--Thaks in advance

Depending on the version of XP you are using, go to the following website
and download/run the file.

To Disable CD AutoPlay, completely, in Windows XP Home
