Stop automatic launch

Microsoft Money automatically launches each time I start
WindowsXP. I don't want it to.

Nothing in Help tells me how to remove it. Help tells me
how to launch a program automatically: put it in the
startup folder. I went to the startup folder planning to
simply remove Money. But Money was not in the startup
folder.

How do I stop Money from launching every time I start the
computer?

This time the problem is MicroSoft Money. In the past, it
has been other programs. I install a program and it sets
itself to automatically launch each time I start the
computer.

I can find nothing in XP Help, nor in the Knowledge Base to
shed light on this issue.

Go to Start/Run and type msconfig and press OK. Click the Start Up Tab
and look for the item there. It is likely starting from the Registry run
key. You can remove the check mark from this item to prevent it from
starting.

Some programs will automatically reset this key if you delete it from the
registry. There should be an option in MS Money that allows it to start when
windows starts.

I have the reverse problem. It seems that money launches every time my
machine shuts down. (tong in cheek)
