stop automatic email addresses into contacts

heidi

every email address I send out automatically turns into a
contact name in my contacts folder. How can i stop this? I
have tried the Outlook help to no avail--cannot even find
a mention of it.

Just disable the "Automatically put people I reply to in said:
Options.

Hi Heidi,

dont know if you have tried this:
On tool bar, enter options, then email options.
At the bottom of the screen there is a tick
box: "automtically put people I reply into:" if you untick
this box your problem should be solved- but it depends on
your version of outlook
