Stop autocompleting numbers

I am inputing data directly into a table in datasheet view
in Access 2000.

Only filling in 1 peice of data for each row (the same
field - called "value") which is a number between 1-5 (or
null).

To move quickly, I am using the down arrow to move to the
same field, next row. (e.g. "1" (down arrow), "3" (down
arrow, etc.)

However, whenever the numbers I enter create the beginning
of a series, the autocomplete jumps in on the next row
with the next number in the series. That is, if I type,
3,4...the next row will autofill with the number 6 (same
for 1,5...7, etc.). These autofill values violate my
validation rules (<=5) and then throw up a message. How
do I turn off this annoying "helpful" feature?!
TIA

You can't, durn it!

Solution: don't use table datasheet. Continuous Forms don't suffer
this vexing behavior. Just build a quick form.
