TV@nywhere was installed several months ago on my new PC. Sound didn't work
but finally got fixed this past wkend w/updated driver.

hooded up computer and all icons were xlarge. fixed that.
all taskbar icons were xlarge and fixed that in Caption button.

all that remains is applications are opening full-screen and everything is
stretched horizontally.

I have 25" Syncmaster, 96 dpi and resolution at 1024x768. I've tried
opening IE6, resizing w/cursor only, then closing IE6 by X and CTRL. still
no help with other apps. All icon shortcuts show open with NORMAL. I did
RUN javascript:window.open(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight) which also
has not resolved this issue.

Help please. I already have episodic vertigo problems so working like this
is not only annoying it's making me ill!

What a rare treat. You did an exceptional job of posting your problem.

You are probably faced with an app that has behaved badly. These behaviors
indicate that the physical setting on the hardware monitor have been
readjusted to make it easy on some app to display itself. My guess would be
the TV app.
Look on your monitor front panel for a drop down cover that can be 'sprung'
open, (if you don't already see the adjustment controls already) These
controls will do things like 'stretch' the image. Tinker with these controls
till you see some change in behavior that is more normal.
