how can i get my wmm2 to let me use the shoot button on my web cam for stop action animation?

Hi there,
To the best of my knowledge, you cannot do that...Movie Maker in capture mode
creates motion images not stills. Instead you can use Movie Maker to capture a
video clip from your web cam and then using Movie Maker grab a still from the
movie. (See the small camera icon under the preview window of Movie Maker)
