I seem to get this very infrequently.

I've looked through the Knowledgebase and it speaks of it only during
setup and install of Windows XP Professional.

I've used the Windows Memory Diagnostic and it says that everything is good.

I have noticed that my video card is pretty hot when this happens. Is
it possible that a problem with the RAM on the video card can give the
same error.

I'm lost here and help would be greatly appreciated...

Card getting hot could give off something like that I suppose. Usually the
STOP 0x8Es come down to hardware incompatibility or driver conflict. I
think an overheated video card might throw this as a hardware incompat. Do
you happen to know the parameters of the bugcheck?

I'm not completely understanding what you are asking but tell me what
you need and I'll find it.

Is this the information that you are asking about?
