With a new RAM upgrade (512MB) Win 2000 Professional
doesn't even get to the start-up screen. Instead, I get
the blue STOP error:
***STOP: 0x00000050
(0xFCDB7D10,0x00000000,0x804B0Be0,0x00000000)
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

When I do a BIOS setup check the computer is reading the
memory just fine. There are no beeps or problems until
Windows tries to start. The BIOS was just upgrades to the
most current. This is running on an IBM A31 laptop model
2652. Is this a a Windows problem or a problem with the
RAM? Only the original 128MB RAM works.
