Stoke City 1-0 Manchester City

The sheikh landed his coptor on the mich car park then felt the full brutal winter heights that are the Brittania stadium and like his team that are just pampered primas came away with cold hands and no points...lol

All that money doesn`nt do nowt against steel and resolve , oh and mother nature

mark Hughes will probably get sacked tomorrow .He will be OK...nice little payout

Well done there Rush :D I guess there were stunned by the short throw-ins when Delap went off

It's hard to see who is going down this season, but unfortunately I think Newcastle are fairly good contenders (along with West Brom and Boro). Only 5 pts between 10th place and relegation

This years league is so exciting its unbelievable ..only 15pts seperate 13 or 14 teams :)

I was thinking of you when I seen the results come up:D .

Kaka ummmmmmm no make a difference.

Great result Rush:thumb:

YEah watched MOTD last night good result, would have thought Delap might've been more disciplined than that but i suppose he just got hot headed, don't think i've even seen him get booked this season.

Hope Hull & Stoke stay up, Tottenham & West Brom to go down, dunno who else yet, maybe West Ham.

Edit: Forgot Blackburn.

Very tight at the bottom.
Stoke doing a lot better than some thought they would do!

You want a real battle of inequality lads 14th of Feb on Setanta at 5.30pm -

The Mighty Watford vs Chelsea.

We have no money. We have three stands, because the 80 year old east stand finally had to be condemned, but we can't afford to knock it down, letalone build another one.

Also in the summer, we couldn't afford free transfers.

And nobody wants our players, so we can't free up the wage bill so we can get free transfers.

We have made two signings, A midfielder from Inverness Caley Thistle for £50k, and a defender from Wycombe Wanderes in League Two for £150k.

Woooooooooooooo.

I still envisage a 5-0 thrashing of Chelsea though.

Stoke City 1-0 Manchester City

The thing is that Stoke are a TEAM whereas Man City are just a group of individuals.

Money certainly helps but it doesn't always make a team that works together.

Who is going down? Well I think West Brom and then perm any two from the bottom half of the table. There are four teams in freefall at the moment - Hull, Portsmouth, Middlesbrough and Newcastle, and none of them seem to be able to win a game at the moment. However a couple of back to back wins and you're looking for a place in Europe. :p

It's good for football that it is so tight at the bottom. And it's good that Aston Villa seem to be making inroads at the top - it's been so boring for the last few seasons with the same old Top Four.

The payments that clubs receive for their final league position is silly really. Those that finish near the top get huge payments that simply makes them even stronger and the lower teams get (relative) peanuts. Should be the other way round. :D

And Graham Taylor back as a director as well.
Perhaps it's time for Elton to come back as well!

He flew over to the training ground in his helicopter a few weeks ago to say hi to all the players :D

He is back around the place, but he isn't putting any money in or being on the board.

Having Taylor back makes hte place feel like home again though.

It would be great to see Watford beat Chelsea...could do with Frank senior grounding his son that evening :)
