Stock quote does not work in Excel

Excel 2002 claims to have smart tag that could be used to
get stock quote. However it does not understand the
stock/mutual fund tickers I entered. The help menu has a
link to an information about how to use the add-in
function MSNStockQuote. I downloaded that add-in and
installed it. It did not work either. Did anyone ever get
this thing working?

Some programs do not do mutual funds. Of the ones that do you must have the
SYMBOL in the accepted format for that program. Then you must look up the
symbol in the appropriate program.

All my symbols are in MSN money central. I could get
quotes there.

I also tried DJIA 30 stocks. The smart tags worked on 8 of
them, but not the other 22. Looks like it's not really
smart
