hello, good moorning, I made a program in excel but I want to do the same
program in acces because the possibilities that offers, let me explain what
my program do, when a sales employee sales something he needs to put a code
in a cell, then he press a registration button with a macro that discount one
piece of the code (I manage 400 codes) from stock, then the information about
the order is save in one excel sheet and finally an acount bill is printed
with information such as date, pieces of sale, price, dicount, clients name,
etc.

Could you tell me if it's possible to do this in acces and how???
(Please specially tellme the part of how to dicount automatically from stock
whn a button is pushed)

tks

Yes, Access is the right tool for that kind of job.

The how is up to you.

You need to learn the basics of using Access to solve problems. After
you've gone through a couple of books and tried a few things you're ready to
begin.

You already have a model of what you're doing by what you're doing because
you've created a tool in Excel to help you do it. Be careful to go back to
the analysis before you implemented it in Excel. Otherwise you may find
yourself trying to duplicate a spreadsheet in Access. It won't work

Most people don't put as good a user interface on an Excel application as
they could. However, in Access the user interface is the expected mechanism
for dealing with the application. It is not good practice to require or
even allow your users to get down into the tables directly.

The general rule in these newsgroups is "one issue per post".
