Hi there, I'd purchased & downloaded an Album long ago and only now
found the time to try to attack the problem.

Problem? The Album is "The Wall' by Pink Floyd and for anyone familiar
with it, it's the sort of album for which the songs are meant to meld
from one into another (well, a good number of them at least).

Thing is playing them on my PC or recording them on CD leaves me with
that space of time between each song. Anyone have a suggestion on how
to get around this?

Much appreciated.

Don't know about playing them but in my Nero software there is a box
that can be checked for "No Pause between tracks." Never have tried that
so no sure if it works or not.

It does work, but there is still a very very slight pause between tracks.

Cheers,

In WMP, click View>Enhancements>Crossfading and Volume Leveling.
There you can set it for zero gaps or even overlap the songs.

Thanks for that info. I've tried it and yup it works. Now I just gotta
see if that gets me anywhere with burning to CD.

Thanks again.

I think your going to need some specialist cd burning software,
I know wavelab can do it, not sure if it can be done on any of the freebies
