Still scratching my head...?

Ok, I need to know if anyone has ever had this problem
because I am totally stumped and so are the tech people I
have been wrking with. I installed PC-cillin Internet
Security and the install is fine everythings works, I can
connect to my LAN and then when I try to go to another
site I get a "cannot display page error" I have to
totally uninstall the virus protection and then do a
system restore to be able to browse with Internet
Explorer again. I have been doing this since Jan 7th just
like tech has asked; I install, just like they ask me to
and then I have to restore. I have done that 9 times in 7
days. I have sent them log files, I sent my sysinfo and
still we cannot resolve this. I had no problems with my
previous Anti-Virus except >>> I was infected with the
Blaster worm while using it and had to totally
reformat... soooo, I thought I needed something else. I
continued to use the old virus protection for a couple of
weeks after the reformat until I could find an Anti-Virus
with the best reviews...now it will not work...any
suggestions? I disabled the Firewall and Security in the
program to see if that might work and still no
luck...been at this for days...any halp would be so
appreciated and I will forward it on to the people that
need these answers as bad as I do...Thanks, JoLeigh

I am so dingy after all of this let me give you a few
more details...Windows XP Home Service pack 1a and the
old anti-virus will still work I just don't trust it...
the new one pc-cillin will not...
 
Is it because you are running two AV's, my understanding was that you
couldn't do that because of conflicts between them. I may be wrong but
that's my thoughts.
