still problem with sound

Now I have got VISTA RC1 (upgraded
0 . Everything looks fine but WMC does not play sound and films. Maybe
problem is I Have got "ffdshow". Now I am stupid. Mayby I ought to install
clean not upgrade,
 
media player clasic? what kind of a file is it .avi (divix xvid) what? i
dont think ffdshow would be a problem but i guess its possible.
