Still no effect

I've tried every setting possible. I'm currently trying to
contact asus, to get some info from them. I don't know
what the problem is but I will find a way to make this
work.

problem:
I have an AMD athlon XP 3000+ and an Asus a7n8x e-deluxe
with 512 ram. The computer is over heating on occasion,
and is stalling out when I'm trying to get to the repair
part, so I can fix the problem with MUP.SYS as it has done
nothing more than upset me the entire time(wont load
windows.)

Thomas, I feel you should resolve the issue of overheating before you
proceed with investigating a software issue.
Not having a stable baseline (hardware) makes troubleshooting an isuse
difficult.
