ok i first copyed it to the hard drvie but i was going to install it and try
it ur way i wrote everything down so i could go through each step now Paul
it brings up cd not in....i did the mount d d:/ - cdrom then went on with
the mount c c:/ c: cd war2 setup then the rest of the sound and music but
got the cd is not in....i really have worked hard on this.....war2 is not in
my add and remove....help...lol....Patsy.........and also under programs
were war to is it says empty

OK if you copy it to the hard drive you don't need to do the mount d d
thing.

You just need to:

mount c c:/
c:
cd war2
setup
------That'll run setup then
war2

It's normal it won't show up in Add/Remove programs, as far as Windows knows
its just a group of files on the hard drive. :)

Using DOSBox 0.65 instead of 0.63 shouldn't (in theory) make any difference.

The contents of the WarCraft CD should all be in a folder called war2 on the
C: drive.
