I am trying to burn an audio/video file (.asi) to DVD. The Hardware for my
f:/drive is: LG CD-RW CED-8120B DVD/CD ROM. I checked and it appears to be
unning properly. Is it possible that this drive is a read only drive and not
a burnable drive?
So if I need more hardware would it be an external burner? Also, some of the
suggestions say I should use a firewire. I'm not sure what that is? Does
my PC have a port for one of these, or do I use a USB port? How can I tell?
Can you help explain some of my hardware issues.
In addition, I'm still having problems saving to a avi file and getting good
quality. Just thought I'd take a shot at burning a DVD to see how it turned
out. I'm using Burn & Go Nitro CD/DVD urning software. How can I get MM2 to
recognize this software - it automatically launches my old Iomega Burn & Go
which does not have DVD burning qualities.
Sorry for so many questions, but you guys/girls have been great in answering
my questions that I don't want to go to each vendor and wait days for
answers. I wanted this project done before Father's Day, and well you know
what they say about best laid plans. Thanks, Pat
