Hi, i managed to find it in the list but then i started
my PC up again after un-checking the box next to the
idecntl.exe file, and it comes up with a message about me
starting my pc up in selective startup mode ninstead of
normal mode. Then when i change to normal mode it re-
checks the box relating to the file again underthe
startup tab. Please help me again!

Hi Michael,

If you are using MSCONFIG to remove items from startup, you want to run in 'Selective Startup' mode.

If you really want to start in normal mode, then you first need to remove the items from the registry before you switch back to
normal startup mode.
