Still giving me "the operation faoled, an object can not be found"

I have went through more time then I care to and checked every setting. They
are all OK and it will send a test e-mail. But then I tell it to send and
recieve all mail and it gives me that error message. I have made at least 4
new connections and imported them as will. Run the Detect and Repair and
everything checks out fine. It will not send and recieve, what can I try
next.

Done Did and didn't work about 4 times. For some reason the address book
doesn't show up when I creat mail and try to send.

Probably because you didn't tell Outlook to use your Contacts folder as an
address book. Right-click Contacts, choose Properties, then the Outlook
Address Book tab. Check the box labeled "Show this folder as an e-mail
address book", if it's not gray. If it is, you'll need to add the Outlook
Address Book service to your mail profile, but I can't tell you how without
knowing your Outlook version.
 
I did get it to work after working with it for awhile. Had to make a new
profile and then it worked.

How did you get it to work? I've had the same problems...added and deleted
profiles, even uninstalled and reinstalled outlook, to no avail. Help! it
stills gives me the "object could not be found" anytime I hit send and
receive. I'd really like to use outlook email!! My calendar,notes, etc. all
work fine.
Is it my email address? it's an MSN one.
Is it my McAfee Security System software?

Any help would be appreciated...
 
This is what I did. and it worked for me, hope it helps you.

HOW TO CREATE A NEW E-MAIL PROFILE FOR OUTLOOK

1. START | CONTROL PANEL | MAIL

2. In the Mail Setup dialog box, click Show Profiles button

3. On the General tab, click to select the PROMT FOR A PROFILE TO BE USED
check box and click ADD

4. Now you have to give the profile a name and click OK

5. In the E-Mail Accounts dialog box, click ADD A NEW E-MAIL ACCOUNT, and
then click NEXT

6. Select the appropriate server type for your new e-mail account, and then
click NEXT

7. Fill in the appropriate information as prompted, and then click NEXT and
FINISH as needed. After that click OK.
