I thought they wanted to stop that a while back, I am still able to download
it. Anybody know why?

I believe that the REGISTRATION is what stopped. I was able to download it
from the email, but I wasn't able to go register for the process...

| Download availability ended on 7/14.

Colin:
I down loaded another copy of Vista x64 from the E-mail link this morning
with a good MD5 hash. The download finished at 8:15 AM EDT. Also I won't be
needing product keys since I wrote them both down before the first download
last month.

Write them down? What a concept! ;)

Forty years ago I read that the computer was going to eliminate the need
for paper. I still buy pens by the dozen, paper by the ream and ink
cartridges bi-monthly.

I still refuse to wear a wristwatch that operates by battery or use a pen
that doesn't have real ink.

ummm...errr... You guys know how to WRITE?!? Is there a forum for that?
I've always wanted to learn, but it's never really presented itself as being
something needed. However, if anyone here ever finds an ACTUAL Dvorak
keyboard, fill me in. (I mean one with the keys printed and laid out
dvorak, not simply remapping the qwerty keyboard. Believe it or not, I
learned how to type on a dvorak...

The trouble with having an open mind,
of course, is that people will insist
on coming along and trying to put
things in it.

| But writing things down is...so...twentieth century, don't ya think? :)

lol...
I learned to type on an old typewriter that my foster father had. When I
left, he refused to give it to me.

Me too! I was told when I started my job 9 years ago that by 2000, we'd be
paperless... with all the reports we get, and NEW reports coming all the
time, we have 10x more paper now than when I started. The world can never be
paperless!
