For the past serveral days after my PC has been on for a
while the display starts haveing static-like distortions
going down the screen and the mouse locks. Then the
Stickykeys dialogue box comes up. Occassionally I can
hit ctrl, alt delete and my processes running includes
Stidkykeys. This program apparently is causing the
display to have waves of distortion. I have never used
Stickykeys before and I have not implemented Stickykeys.
I've checked Accessibility several times and Stidkykeys
is not checked. Do you think I have a virus or worm? or
is this indicative of a hardware/software problem?

Go back to Accessibilties> StickyKeys and click the Settings button.
Uncheck the box that allows the shortcut key.

By default, the shortcut is "press Shift 5 times." If your keyboard repeat
rate is set to high or if the Shift key is sticking, you could be bringing
up StickyKeys without meaning to.
