Sticky Pointer

I'm using Windows 2000 on a Dell Latitude, using the
touchpad. Recently, the pointer has been "sticking" to
icons and other items, so that double-clicking doesn't
work correctly. Instead, there are times, but not all the
time, that the pointer acts like a magnet and will stick
to icons, items, etc.

Any ideas how to correct this?

Thanks

Check the "snap to" property of your pointer options in Control Panel |
Mouse.
