ok i have tried everything, virus scan, ms updates and
reinstalling but when i search and and fill in online
forms the ie freezes up then becomes active after about 2
minutes. i have asked my isp but they say it aint nothing
there doing wrong so can ne one help???? plz
 
Open a process monitor and see what your processor
resourses are doing. If IE is taking up the processor to
99%, then the problem is, in fact, IE. That means any one
of a million things could be wrong.. and if you tried re-
installing IE already, then the problem is in Window's
itself. (if you don't have an NT-based version of
windows: NT, 2000 or XP, you can go to sysinternals.com
and download process explorer and a number of other handy
utilities, too).

If another application is running up your processor, then
try re-installing that application instead. I had a
problem with Norton Antivirus running up my proc to 99%
every time IE opened a new webpage when NAV Auto-Protect
was enabled. Re-installing the NAV software solved that
problem.
