Stereo mixing

I have quite a dilemma and can't find a solution. On my video tapes, the
right channel is the speaker's microphone, and the left channel is the camera
microphone. Is there any way for me to control the mix of these channels
using Movie Maker? If so, how? If not, can anyone suggest a tool or plug-in
that could?

I'm transferring the vide/audio digitally, so mixing during the recording is
not an option.

Thanks for any help in advance!

PapaJohn - Thanks for your reply! You made a reasonable assumption, however
that won't really work. The camera was about 50' from the speaker, so the
camera microphone is picking up the room echo and other people talking.

Ideal:

Mix from camera mic (right channel) during applause to speaker's mic (left
channel) during speech

Acceptable:

Use only the speaker's mic (left channel)

Thanks again!

Sounds good, but how can I get the left mic from on the video/audio track,
and the right mic on the audio/music track?

Thanks again!

Q

drag the clip to the video track as usual... then drag it again to the
audio/music track and it'll use just the audio on that one.

if the computer is powerful enough to handle it smoothly during preview, rip
the audio track in total to a high quality WMA file... or a WAV... with the
big clip on the audio/music track of Movie Maker, and nothing on the video
track, save the movie and it'll give you WMA choices.... if you'd rather
have a WAV file, rip it with TMPGEnc...
