Stays open in processes

When I close it in and explore it stays open in the processes that under task
manager. And if I go to reopen Internet Explorer later and then close it
ain't other one stays open under processes and finally it will not let me
open in and explore it until I go to processes and manually shut them down.

Even though they are shut down on my screen and do not show under the
applications as running

First eliminate any spyware.
