Hi,

if I run a PowerPoint show the screen is used full size.

If half way through a presentation I want to show my class a screen in a
word document or an other pp show I have to stop the show and then go to
the other document.

I can use TAB-Control to select different programs that are running.

Is there a better way of doing this?

Is there a way of keeping the windows 2000 status bar at the bottom of
the screen permanently visible, even during PP shows?

Thanks

I'm not sure of the best answer to this question but...did you know if you press the "windows" key on the keyboard (the
one left of the space bar)....it shows the windows taskbar during a slideshow ?

You can always set up a hyperlink to another document. The details are
sligthly different depending on the version of PowerPoint you have, but
you can highlight text and choose Hyperlink from the Insert menu. This
will allow you to link to an existing document, another place within the
current presentation, or to a Web page. If you link to Word, you will
have a Back button to return to the presentation, or you can just close
the other document, and you should be back in the presentation. --David
