I have about 600 folders with stationery in them.. and I had to put them in
the old Stationery Folder.
C/Program Files/ETC. As it would mean me changeing the paths in the HTML for
each image..
Is there any way that I can make this the default Folder ..when I want to
send a new stationery ..
After I start the machine the default is the Windows mail Stationery..

HKLM_Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Stationery

Looks like where that path is stored.

Backup that subkey then edit it to reflect the path you want to use (the old
one).

Thanks Majik..
I tried it.. but must have something missing in my path..
It still defaulted back to Windows Mail..

I was thinking it was elsewhere but it's been so long that I've looked I was
suprised it came up in that subkey. I was thinking it was in the User Shell
Folders subkey (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders) but it's no longer there.

Don't know if you recall that there was a time when Outlook Express would
show the 8.3 folder and filenames and when the location in the registry was
changed from the 8.3 to the full name, it solved that problem.

Probably need to run Regmon on winmail.exe and see what it does to that
location on startup. If it automatically changes it back, we've solved that
problem, they hard coded it. I guess it will run on Vista. Haven't tried it
in a while, did on an early early beta.

Just looked, they saying use Process Monitor now which does work for Vista.

No, unfortunately they fixed the location so you have to put all the
stationery under the message store.

Thanks Steve.
I tried everything Majik sugested..

At least I know now..
It doesn't take long to browse to the old Stationery folder where I put
them..
Much easier than changeing thousands of file paths

Thanks Steve..
