I'm trying to setup a 'Guest' type user account on my domain. I remember
stumbling across something (while looking for something else) about this
before, but I do not know the 'official' technical term, nor can I find it
again, so I have not had much luck with searches.
I have some computers that can be accessed by the public and I want to setup
one (& only one) domain user account for the public users on these computers.
Is it possible to setup this account profile and when a user logs on with it,
it 'resets' or overwrites the local machine profile? In such a way that it is
not updated on the server either?
I have found some group policy settings that allow me to do half of what I
want. I can prevent the server profile from being updated with the local one,
but I want to 're-create' the profile on logon, regardless of which computer
is used.
Can someone please tell me the 'real' term to use, or how to go about it?
Please, heelp!

You will want to create a mandatory profile for the login that the external
users will use. This is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article
