Can't configure Client side with Static IP. if I do I get error 735.

this is a Windows 200 Server enviorment

every thing was working then I lost RAS on Server-1 beacuse BAckup Exec 10
conflicted with a port and RAS services would no longer start. so I turned
on RAS on server-3 and reconfigured the router to pass PPTP to Server 3.
DHCP Relay agent is pointed at the DHCP server. when they connect using
their old MS vpnclient setup I get error 375. if I change it to obtain IP
automaticly the VPN connection works. What am i missing that it worked
previously. how do I get the network to allow the static IP?

you may want to use Static address pool instead of static IP on the VPN client.

I have tried to use resevered IP under DHCP but it does not seem to work with the VPN clients.

before I just asinged the client with a static IP and that worked but now with RAS setup on the new server I get a error 375. how can I alow the server to accept the static IP.

The client has to have a static IP for printer mapping in TS.

Thanks
