There are several applications which automatically start
whenever I reboot. What file do I need to access to
change these?

Gerry,
Most of these programs have a setting in themselves like "Start at
Boot-up.." or something similar. Disable that. If that is not possible, then
type MSCONFIG.EXE at Start>Run.. and flip to the startup tab. Uncheck all
items you do not want at startup.

Hi Gerry,

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.
