I live in an area that started having a number of power outages. Even though
I just ordered a battery backup, I think some of this outages have caused my
Windows XP startup to have problems. When I try to start up, it asks if I
want to start up in Safe modes or Regular. When I try Regular, the PC powers
off. The Safe Mode will start the PC and once when I then clicked Restart it
worked, but other times it didn't. I can get in with System Restore, or at
least the one time I have tried. What I want to do is find a way to fix the
Startup procedure so I do't have to go throught these other procedures.
