How to uninstall deleted programs or files that have been deleted from
windows xp from start when you do not know the programs or files that were
deleted from xp that remain in start

Never delete programs--uninstall them and maybe this won't be a problem.
You really need to provide specific information about your problem--are you
getting error messages when you boot? What do they say? What is happening
that is driving your question?

Just guessing with the limited info you provided, go to the Start menu, Run,
type: msconfig and click OK. There is a Startup tab that lists
programs that are being started at boot. If you recognize something that
corresponds to whatever caused you to submit a post, you can disable it by
unchecking the box in front of it.

I see your problem...deleted programs that you dont know the name of have
left residue in your registry as well as msconfig startup.
try this little program
http://www.ccleaner.com/
it will find and you may delete references to gone programs that no longer
exist on your system...but you will need to manually delete from the
msconfig start up.

Can you reinstall and then try uninstalling through Add / Remove
Programs.

Otherwise try Autoruns. If in doubt about an item disable, observe for
affect and then remove a few days later.

Hope this helps.
