Hi There,

I am not sure why. But I wanted to let you know that you
aren't the only one that has had this happen. It
happened to me for no reason. Then if I double click the
MSAS icon it would start up and then pop up the typical
green box or blue box, but it was like they were from the
whole day. For example if I was using my computer for
several hours and then realized that it wasn't on, when I
turned it on, it was like it remember everything I did
during that time and starting to prompt me. The thing
is, I never shut it off, it always started up w/ Windows
and but then it stopped. I looked in MSCONFIG and
Systems and everything was set normally. I have no clue
why, but until it is addressed, I removed the program.
It was quite the resource hog, even though the tray icon
wasn't there.

Try this:
Open up control panel and double-click on add/remove programs.
Select Microsoft AntiSpyware
Select "Change"
On the Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard, click next.
On the next screen (Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard) select Update
Microsoft AntiSpyware and click next.
Select Install
Let the product update.
Click Finish.
