I have created a startup script to run but windows
generates a Event ID 1000 message in the app log
indicating that the system could not find the file
specified. However when you click on the link in the
error message the system does find and execute the file.

What is wrong?

.

there is no example of your startup script, but if you
have spaces in the name don´t forget trailing "" (that was
my problem)

The script referenced is

\\serverx\sharex$\batchfile.cmd

I can set this to another server and it works with same
permissions "everyone full control" but on certain
servers it will not work. Like I said after the system is
logged on and the app log is opened you can click the
link and the command does execute.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem with a logon script. If you
come across the answer I would be extremely grateful if
you would let me know as I will if I find a solution.
