One of the programs that runs everytime I boot my system is entitled
"Synchronization Manager" with the command mobsync.exe /logon (I learned
this from running PC Mag's Startup Cop.)
Is this part of Windows 2000 Professional?
I'm trying to minimize my startup time, and would like to elminate
unnecessary programs.
Thanks in advance.

Mark,
Thank you! Yes, the entry you list talks about removing mobsync. At least I
know where it comes from.
Any ideas on what might cause a slowdown in shutdown? (I posted this
separately.)
